Chris Bourne (born 6 September 1985) is an English footballer. He plays as a left-back (a defender on the left side) or a midfielder (a player in the middle of the field). Currently, he plays for Harlow Town. Chris was born in England, but he has also played for the Guyana national team in international games.

Chris's Football Journey

Chris Bourne started playing football when he was 12 years old. He began as a goalkeeper for his school team. Later, he moved out of the goal and started playing in other positions on the field.

First International Games

He played his first international game for Guyana on 22 January 2008. This match was against Cuba and took place in Linden. Just two days later, he played another game against Cuba in Georgetown.

International Goal

Chris scored a goal for Guyana on 12 October 2010. This goal helped his team win a match during the 2010 Caribbean Championship.

Chris's Life Off the Pitch

Chris's father, Gary, was also a footballer. He used to play for a team called Millwall. Besides playing, Chris also manages an amateur Sunday league football team called FC Gulls.
