Christabel Oppong Oduro, born on November 1, 1992, is a Canadian soccer player. She plays as a forward for Halifax Tides FC in the Northern Super League. Christabel has played for many teams around the world. She has also represented the Canada women's national soccer team.

About Christabel
Christabel Oduro grew up in Brampton, Ontario, Canada. Her parents were born in Ghana, giving her Ghanaian roots. She is also the cousin of Dominic Oduro, another international soccer player from Ghana.
Christabel went to St. Thomas Aquinas Secondary School. There, she was a talented athlete. She played soccer, basketball, and volleyball. She also enjoyed cross-country running. Later, she studied at the University of Memphis. She joined their soccer program while at university.
Christabel's Club Career
Christabel Oduro has played for many soccer clubs. She has played in Canada, the United States, and several countries in Europe and the Middle East.
Playing in Canada and Germany
In 2014, Christabel joined Ottawa Fury. The next year, in 2015, she moved to Germany. She signed with a team called Herforder SV Borussia Friedenstal (HSV). She scored 10 goals in 20 games for HSV. In 2016, she returned to Canada. She played for the Woodbridge Strikers. She scored 12 goals in 13 games that year.
Adventures in Israel, Sweden, and Malta
From 2016 to 2019, Christabel played for Ramat HaSharon in Israel. Her team finished second in their league twice. She also helped them win the Israeli Women's Cup.
In 2019, she moved to Sweden. She played for IFK Kalmar in the Swedish Elitettan league. She scored eight goals in 21 games during the 2019 season. In 2020, Christabel joined Birkirkara in Malta. In one game, she scored three goals, helping her team win 12–0. She also played for Birkirkara in the 2020–21 UEFA Women's Champions League.
Iceland, Turkey, and France
In February 2021, Christabel signed with Grindavík in Iceland. She scored 14 goals in 17 matches for them. Later in 2021, she played again for Woodbridge Strikers in Canada.
In 2022, she returned to Iceland to play for Víkingur. In October 2022, Christabel moved to Turkey. She joined the team Beşiktaş. In July 2023, she joined FC Nantes in France.
In September 2024, she moved back to Turkey. She joined a club called Amed. In January 2025, Christabel signed with Halifax Tides FC in Canada. This team is part of the new Northern Super League.
Playing for Canada

Youth National Team
She played for the Canada under-20s. In 2012, her team finished second in the 2012 CONCACAF Women's U-20 Championship. She also played in the 2012 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup. In that tournament, her team did not make it past the first round.
Senior National Team
In March 2012, Christabel was called up to the Canada women's national soccer team. She played for Canada in the 2013 Cyprus Women's Cup. Canada finished second in that competition.
In total, Christabel has played five games for the Canadian senior team. All of these games were friendly matches, not competitive ones. In 2019, Christabel shared that she was interested in playing for the Ghana women's national football team. She would be able to do this because she has not played in a competitive game for Canada.
