Christel Khalil (born November 30, 1987) is an American actress. She is famous for playing Lily Winters in the TV show The Young and the Restless. This role helped her win a Daytime Emmy Award in 2012. She also voiced Cornelia Hale in the cartoon series W.I.T.C.H..

Christel Khalil was born in Los Angeles, California. Her mother has Native American, African American, and European roots. Her father is from Pakistan. Christel says she is proud to be mixed race. She has three older brothers and a younger half-sister. In 2017, she shared that her father is an immigrant from Pakistan.
Her Acting Journey
Christel Khalil is best known for her role as Lily Winters on the CBS soap opera The Young and the Restless. She started on the show in 2002. On June 23, 2012, she won a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Younger Actress in a Drama Series. She had been nominated for this award four times before.
In 2018, Christel decided to work less often on the show. She wanted more freedom in her life and career. She still appeared sometimes. In 2020, the show's writer asked her to come back and film more regularly.
Christel has also acted in movies like Matilda and Interview With the Assassin. She lent her voice to Cornelia Hale in the animated show W.I.T.C.H.. In September 2008, Christel married musician Stephen Hensley. Her The Young and the Restless co-star Elizabeth Hendrickson was a bridesmaid. Bryton James, another co-star, was a groomsman. Christel and Stephen had a son on April 17, 2010. Bryton James is his godfather. Christel and Stephen separated in 2011.
Later, Christel was in a relationship with Ray Wicks for four years. They broke up in 2015. In 2018, she shared that she was dating Canadian businessman Sam Restagno. They met at a music festival in 2016. In 2019, Christel and her son moved to Toronto, Ontario, to be with Sam. In July 2020, she moved back to Los Angeles. In June 2023, she announced she was expecting her second child, her first with Sam.
Christel is best friends with Bryton James. He plays her character's brother, Devon Hamilton, on The Young and the Restless. She is also friends with other co-stars, like Mishael Morgan. In 2015, she helped her friend Nadine Heimann's non-profit group called True Connection.
Christel loves to travel. She enjoys seeing different cultures. She says traveling helps her feel connected to who she is.
