Christian Peak is a mountain located in the beautiful Canadian Rockies. It is sometimes called Lyell 5 or L5. This peak is the lowest of five distinct subpeaks that make up Mount Lyell (Canada). Christian Peak sits right on the border between two Canadian provinces: Alberta and British Columbia.
The mountain was officially named in 1972. It was named by Sydney R. Vallance. He chose the name to honor Christian Hässler, Jr.
