Chupiquiña is a volcano located right on the border between two South American countries: Chile and Peru. It stands very tall, reaching about 5,805 meters (19,045 feet) into the sky. Its name might come from the Aymara language, possibly meaning Chupikiña.

On the Chilean side, Chupiquiña is found in the Arica y Parinacota Region, specifically in Parinacota Province. On the Peruvian side, it's in the Tacna Region, within Tacna Province and the Palca District. This volcano is situated near other mountains, like Achacollo to its southeast and Huancune to its south. It is also close to the Chilean volcano called Tacora.
