Getting Around Churchill
Interstate 376, also known as the "Parkway East," runs through Churchill. This highway helps people travel easily.
If you go west on I-376 from Churchill, you can reach Interstate 279 and downtown Pittsburgh. If you go east, you can get to the Pennsylvania Turnpike.
U.S. Route 22 also goes through Churchill, following the same path as I-376.
Several bus lines from the Port Authority of Allegheny County serve Churchill. These buses can take you to downtown Pittsburgh or to Monroeville. In Monroeville, you can find the Monroeville Mall and bus stops for commuters.
Years ago, the Parkway East used to end in Churchill. Drivers would then continue on U.S. 22. There was a sign that said "PARKWAY ENDS" because the road ahead had regular intersections.
