Chy played for two seasons with the New York Jets in the National Football League (NFL). He also played college football at the University of Rhode Island. Before that, he went to Bayside High School in Queens, New York. Chy Davidson also spent time with other teams like the New England Patriots, Washington Redskins, and Washington Federals.

Chy Davidson loved football from a young age. He played high school football for the Bayside High School Commodores. While playing for the Commodores, Chy was an amazing scorer. He set a school record by scoring 28 touchdowns in just one season! This showed everyone how talented he was.

Chy Davidson began his professional football career after college.
Joining the NFL Teams
In 1981, the New England Patriots picked Chy Davidson in the eleventh round of the NFL supplemental draft. A draft is when professional teams choose new players. However, he was released by the Patriots in August 1981.
The next year, in 1982, Chy signed with another NFL team, the Washington Redskins. But he was released by them in September of that year.
Playing in the USFL
In 1983, Chy Davidson joined the Washington Federals. This team was part of a different league called the United States Football League (USFL). He signed with them in January but was released in February 1983.
Time with the New York Jets
Chy Davidson then signed with the New York Jets of the NFL on April 10, 1984. He played in four games for the Jets during the 1984 and 1985 seasons. He was released by the Jets in September 1985.
