Chy Davidson (born May 9, 1959) is a former American football player. He played as a wide receiver in the National Football League (NFL) for the New York Jets. Before joining the NFL, he played college football at the University of Rhode Island.

Early Life and High School

Chy Davidson grew up in Queens Village, New York. He played high school football for the Bayside High School Commodores. During his time there, he was an amazing player. He set a school record by scoring 28 touchdowns in just one season! This showed everyone how talented he was at football.

College Football Career

After high school, Chy Davidson went to the University of Rhode Island. He continued to play football there for the Rhode Island Rams team. Playing college football helped him get ready for a professional career.

Professional Football Journey

Chy Davidson started his professional football career in 1981. He was chosen by the New England Patriots in a special draft called the NFL supplemental draft. This draft helps teams pick players who might have missed the main draft.

Playing for Different Teams

After being with the Patriots for a short time, Chy Davidson joined the Washington Redskins in 1982. Later, in 1983, he played for the Washington Federals in a different league called the United States Football League (USFL).
