Clapton railway station is a train station in London, England. It is located on Upper Clapton Road. This station is part of the London Overground network. It helps people travel between Upper Clapton, central London (at Liverpool Street), and Chingford.
Clapton station is part of the Lea Valley Lines. These are train lines that connect different parts of London. The line that Clapton station is on splits into two directions. One goes towards Tottenham Hale and the other to St James Street. However, trains that stop at Clapton do not go to Tottenham Hale. This line later joins another branch near Hackney Downs.
