María Clara Sosa Perdomo (born September 25, 1993) is a model and TV host from Paraguay. She won the title of Miss Grand Paraguay in 2018. Later that year, she became Miss Grand International 2018 in Yangon, Myanmar. She was the first woman from Paraguay to win this big international beauty contest.

About Clara Sosa
Clara Sosa was born in Asunción, the capital city of Paraguay. She grew up in a city called San Lorenzo. She works as a model for ON Management. Clara is also a TV host on a morning show called La mañana de Unicanal.
Her Journey to Miss Grand International
Clara Sosa has taken part in several beauty contests. In 2015, she competed in the Miss Model of the World contest. She made it into the Top 20 finalists, which was a great achievement.
Becoming Miss Grand Paraguay
On June 9, 2018, Clara Sosa won the Miss Grand Paraguay 2018 title. The final event took place at the Hotel Guarani Theatre. She took over the crown from the previous winner, Lia Duarte Ashmore.
Winning Miss Grand International
As Miss Grand Paraguay, Clara Sosa went on to compete in the Miss Grand International 2018 contest. This big event was held on October 25, 2018, in Yangon, Myanmar. She was crowned by the outgoing Miss Grand International 2017, María José Lora from Peru.
Clara Sosa made history by becoming the first person from Paraguay to win this important international title. She was also the second winner from South America.
The Final Question
During the final round, all five contestants were asked an important question. They had to imagine they won the crown that night. Then, they had to choose one country for their first visit to start their "Stop the War and Violence Campaign." They also had to say what their message would be to that country.
Clara Sosa answered this question well, which helped her win the crown.
The Top Contestants
After the final decision, the top contestants were announced. The first runner-up was Meenakshi Chaudhary from India. Nadia Purwoko from Indonesia was the second runner-up. Nicole Colón from Puerto Rico placed third, and Haruka Oda from Japan was the fourth runner-up.
