Clarion Chukwurah was born in Lagos, Nigeria. She was the only girl in her family. She went to primary school in Lagos. Later, she attended Queen of the Rosary College in Onitsha for her secondary education. She then studied acting and speech at Obafemi Awolowo University.
Acting Career Highlights
Clarion Chukwurah started acting in 1980. She became very well-known after appearing in the TV show Mirror in the Sun. She made history as the first Nigerian to win the Best Actress award at the 1982 FESPACO film festival in Burkina Faso. The United Nations also recognized her as a peace ambassador. This was for her important charity work across Africa.
