Clarion Chukwurah (born Clara Nneka Oluwatoyin Folashade Chukwurah on July 24, 1964) is a famous Nigerian actress. Besides acting, she is also known for her work as a humanitarian, which means she helps people in need.

Early Life and Schooling
Clarion Chukwurah was born in Lagos, Nigeria. She was the only daughter in her family and has three brothers. She grew up in Lagos where she went to nursery and primary school.
For her high school education, she attended Queen of the Rosary College in Onitsha, a city in her home state of Anambra State. Later, she went to Obafemi Awolowo University to study Acting and Speech in the Department of Dramatic Arts.
Acting Career
Chukwurah started her acting career around 1979. She became a well-known star after appearing in a popular TV show called Mirror in the Sun. TV shows like this, which tell ongoing stories, are often called soap operas.
In 1982, she made history by becoming the first Nigerian to win the Best Actress award at the FESPACO film festival. This major festival takes place in Burkina Faso. Her work helping communities across Africa also earned her the title of a United Nations peace ambassador.
Personal Life
Chukwurah has a son named Clarence Peters, who is a successful music video director. His father is the famous musician Sir Shina Peters. She is currently married to Anthony Boyd.
