Claudio Daniel Husaín, born on November 20, 1974, is a former professional football player from Argentina. He was a midfielder, which means he played in the middle of the field. Claudio played for several well-known teams. These included Vélez Sársfield and River Plate in Argentina. He also played for S.S.C. Napoli in Italy and Tigres de la UANL in Mexico. Later in his career, he returned to Argentina to play for Newell's Old Boys.

Claudio Husaín's Club Career

Playing for Parma, Napoli, and River Plate

In 2000, Claudio Husaín joined Parma, a team in Italy. However, he soon moved back to Argentina. He was loaned to River Plate. A loan means a player temporarily plays for another team.

Later that year, in October 2000, he returned to Italy. He joined Napoli. Even though Napoli's team was moved to a lower league, Parma sold Husaín to Napoli in June 2001.

Husaín stayed with Napoli for a while. But in January 2002, he went back to River Plate on another loan. He played for Napoli for half a season in a lower league. Then, in January 2003, he joined River Plate again.

Time with Tigres UANL

In July 2004, Claudio Husaín moved to Mexico. He played for a team called Tigres UANL.

Returning to Newell's Old Boys

Husaín joined Newell's Old Boys in Argentina in July 2004. After playing for San Lorenzo for half a season, he returned to Newell's Old Boys. This happened in January 2007, and it was another one-year loan.

Playing for Defensor Sporting

In August 2009, Claudio Husaín signed with Defensor Sporting. This team is from Uruguay.

Joining Audax Italiano

In January 2010, Husaín signed with Audax Italiano, a club in Chile. However, after a big earthquake happened in Chile in February 2010, he decided to leave the team. This decision effectively marked the end of his professional playing career.
