Joanna Krystyna Klepko (born on June 25, 1983), known as Cleo, is a famous Polish singer. She became well-known when she represented Poland in the Eurovision Song Contest 2014. This big music competition took place in Copenhagen, Denmark. She performed with Donatan and sang the song "My Słowianie".

Early Life
Cleo was born in Szczecin, Poland. She has a twin brother named Piotr. She grew up in Ursynów, which is a part of Warsaw. Cleo studied at the Warsaw University of Life Sciences. She earned a master's degree in landscape architecture. During her studies, she lived in Paris for six months.
Music Career
Cleo started her music journey by singing in a gospel choir called "Soul Connection". She also won the first season of a Polish music competition called Studio Garaż. She won in the Rhythm and blues category. Cleo has worked with many other artists. Some of them include Pezet, Onar, and Pih.
In 2011, Cleo joined the first season of the Polish TV show X Factor. Since 2013, she has been working closely with the music producer Donatan.
Eurovision Song Contest
On February 25, 2014, it was announced that Cleo and Donatan would represent Poland at the Eurovision Song Contest 2014. Their song was "My Słowianie". They performed in Copenhagen, Denmark. In the final competition, they finished 14th. They received 62 points.
There was some discussion about their result. The public's votes (tele-vote) placed Poland much higher, at 5th place. They received 162 points from the public. This included top scores from countries like the United Kingdom and Ireland. However, the judges from the UK and Ireland placed them last. This difference in voting caused a lot of talk in the news.
Later Success
In 2015, Cleo joined the TV show Taniec z Gwiazdami, which is like "Dancing with the Stars". She danced with Jan Kliment. Many people thought she might win, but she finished in third place.
Later that year, Cleo signed a music deal with Universal Music Polska. She released her first solo song, "Zabiorę Nas," on December 30. In 2016, she released more songs like "Wolę być" and "N-O-C". She was also nominated for the 2016 MTV Europe Music Awards as the "Best Polish Artist".
In 2017, Cleo released a special version of her second album, Bastet. It included new songs like "Pali się" and "Serce". She also recorded a Christmas song called "Coraz bliżej święta" for a Coca-Cola advertisement.
Cleo continued to release new music. In 2018, she released "Łowcy gwiazd" and "EVA" (with Mesajah). She even made a new version of "Łowcy gwiazd" called "Łowcy" to support the Poland national football team for the World Cup.
Since 2019, Cleo has been a coach on the children's singing competition show The Voice Kids. She released more singles like "Wrrra" and "Za Krokiem Krok".
In 2020, Cleo released "Alfabet Świateł," again produced by Donatan. She planned to release a new album called vinyLOVA, but it was delayed because of the COVID-19 pandemic. She released other songs, including "Bratnie dusze" with Dawid Kwiatkowski. Her album superNOVA came out on September 18, 2020. Cleo has also appeared in many advertisements for Media Expert. In 2020, she became the artistic director for the store chain.
In 2021, Cleo released "Kocham" and "Polskie Mexico" with Lexy Chaplin. The music video for "Polskie Mexico" got over 260,000 views on YouTube in just one hour! She also released "Dalej" with the famous singer Maryla Rodowicz.
