Joanna Krystyna Klepko (born June 25, 1983), known as Cleo, is a popular Polish singer. She became well-known when she represented Poland in the Eurovision Song Contest 2014 in Copenhagen, Denmark. She performed with Donatan and their song "My Słowianie".

Cleo's Early Life
Cleo was born in Szczecin, Poland. She has a twin brother named Piotr. She grew up in Ursynów, a part of Warsaw.
Cleo studied at the Warsaw University of Life Sciences. She earned a master's degree in landscape architecture. During her studies, she also lived in Paris, France, for six months.
Cleo's Music Career
Cleo started her music journey by singing in a gospel choir called "Soul Connection." She also won the first season of a Polish music competition called Studio Garaż in the Rhythm and blues category. She has worked with many other artists over the years.
In 2011, Cleo took part in the first season of the Polish TV show X Factor. She began working with the music producer Donatan in 2013.
Eurovision Song Contest
On February 25, 2014, it was announced that Cleo and Donatan would represent Poland at the Eurovision Song Contest 2014. They performed their song "My Słowianie" in Copenhagen, Denmark.
In the final competition, they finished in 14th place. However, in the public vote (tele-vote), Poland was ranked 5th. This difference caused a lot of discussion among fans and in the media.
After Eurovision
In 2015, Cleo joined the fourth season of Taniec z Gwiazdami, which is the Polish version of Dancing with the Stars. She danced with Jan Kliment and finished in third place.
Later that year, Cleo signed a music deal with Universal Music Polska. She released her first solo song, "Zabiorę Nas," on December 30, 2015.
In 2016, Cleo released more songs, including "Wolę być" and "N-O-C." She was also nominated for the "Best Polish Artist" award at the 2016 MTV Europe Music Awards.
New Albums and Collaborations
On May 26, 2017, Cleo released a special version of her second album, Bastet. It included new songs like "Pali się" and "Serce." She also confirmed that she was working on her third studio album. That year, she recorded a Christmas song called "Coraz bliżej święta" for a Coca-Cola advertisement.
In 2018, Cleo released music videos for her singles "Łowcy gwiazd" and "EVA," which featured Mesajah. She also released a new version of "Łowcy gwiazd" called "Łowcy" to support the Poland national football team during the FIFA World Cup.
In 2019, Cleo released three more singles: "Wrrra," "Za Krokiem Krok," and "Kły." Since 2019, Cleo has been a coach on the children's singing competition show The Voice Kids.
In 2020, Cleo released the song "Alfabet Świateł," produced by Donatan. She also announced her new album, vinyLOVA, which was planned for 2021. However, its release was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. She released "Bratnie dusze" with Dawid Kwiatkowski and "Znikam" with B.R.O. Her album superNOVA was released on September 18, 2020. Cleo also appeared in advertisements for Media Expert and became their artistic director.
In 2021, Cleo released the single "Kocham." She also released "Polskie Mexico" with Lexy Chaplin, which quickly gained many views online. On October 22, she released "Dalej" with the famous Polish singer Maryla Rodowicz.
