The town of Greenville is also nearby, about eight miles southwest, along the St. Francis River. A stream called Bear Creek flows past the southeast side of the community.
How Clubb Got Its Name
Clubb had its own post office that opened in 1892. This post office served the community for many years. It stayed in operation until 1959.
The community was named after a man named Jake Clubb. He was an important person in the area. Jake Clubb owned and ran a local country store. This store was a central place for people in the community.
