Coca-Cola Light Sango was a special kind of Coca-Cola Light. It had a unique blood orange flavor. The Coca-Cola Company made it. This drink was first sold in France in the middle of 2005. It was special because it was the first Coca-Cola drink created outside of the company's main office in Atlanta, Georgia. This happened partly because people in Belgium drank a lot of Coca-Cola Light. Also, other citrus-flavored Coke Light drinks were popular in Europe.

What Does "Sango" Mean?

The name "Sango" comes from the French word sang. This word means "blood." It was chosen because of the drink's blood orange flavor. The name also refers to a character from the Japanese animated series Inuyasha.
