Colin Teevan (born in 1968 in Dublin, Ireland) is a talented Irish writer. He creates plays for the theatre, scripts for TV shows, and also translates stories into new versions.

He has worked on many popular TV shows. These include Das Boot (for Sky), Silk (for BBC), and Vera (for ITV). Colin also created and wrote the series Rebellion and Charlie. He was also a co-executive producer for both shows.

Both Rebellion and Charlie won many awards called IFTAs. For example, Aidan Gillen won Best Actor for playing Charlie Haughey in Charlie.

Colin Teevan's theatre plays have been shown in famous places. These include The West End and Royal National Theatre in London. His plays have also been performed in Tokyo and at the Abbey Theatre in Ireland. He has worked with famous directors like Sir Peter Hall.
