Collinsville is a town located in the state of Alabama, USA. It's found in both DeKalb and Cherokee counties. The town officially became a town in 1887. In 2010, about 1,983 people lived there. By 2020, the population grew to 2,059 people.
One of the biggest employers in Collinsville is Koch Foods. This is a large poultry plant that provides jobs for about 800 people.

Where is Collinsville Located?
Collinsville is in the southern part of DeKalb County. A small part of the town also reaches into Cherokee County.
The town sits in a valley called Little Wills Valley. To the east, you can see Lookout Mountain. To the west, there's a smaller ridge known as Big Ridge.
The town covers about 3.9 square miles (10.2 square kilometers). Only a tiny part of this area is water.
