Collores is a small area, called a barrio, located in the town of Orocovis, Puerto Rico. In 2010, about 152 people lived there. It's known for its quiet, natural surroundings.
A Look at Collores' History
Puerto Rico, including areas like Collores, became a territory of the United States after the Spanish–American War. This happened in 1898, when Spain gave up control of the island.
Soon after, in 1899, the U.S. government counted the people living in Puerto Rico. They found that Collores and a nearby barrio called Cacaos had a combined population of 1,588 people.
