Colon is a small village located in Saunders County, Nebraska, in the United States. In 2020, about 107 people lived there. The village has a post office and a bank. Colon is about seven miles north of Wahoo, which is the main town in Saunders County.

History of Colon Village
Colon was first started in 1879. It moved to its current spot in 1886. This happened when the railroad lines were built to reach that area. The village was named after a place called Colon, Michigan. The first postmaster of Colon, Nebraska, was from Michigan and chose the name. Colon officially became a village in 1894. This means it got its own local government.
