Comano is a small town, also called a municipality, located in the Lugano area of the canton of Ticino in Switzerland. It's known for being the main home and studios for TSI, which is the Italian-speaking TV station in Switzerland.

Comano was first mentioned way back in 1159. Back then, it was called Cumano.

Comano covers an area of about 2.06 square kilometers (which is about 0.8 square miles). A big part of this land, about 34.5%, is used for farming. Even more, about 54.4%, is covered by forests.

The rest of the land is used for buildings and roads (34%). Only a tiny bit, 0.5%, is land that can't be used for anything. Most of the built-up areas are homes and other buildings.

Comano is located on a hilly area just north-west of the city of Lugano.
