Connie Hall (born June 24, 1929 – died January 7, 2021) was an American singer. She became known for her country music songs in the late 1950s and 1960s. Connie was also a talented songwriter.

Early Life and Music Start
Connie Hall was born in Walden, Kentucky, but she grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio. From a young age, she loved to sing and perform. When she was 21, Connie worked at the Jimmie Skinner Music Center in Ohio.
Soon, she got a chance to sing on a radio show on WZIP in Covington, Kentucky. In 1954, country singer Jimmie Skinner asked Connie to sing on his radio show at WNOP in Newport, Kentucky. She sang on his show often for several years. She even worked as a weather girl on Jimmie Skinner's television show!
Music Career Highlights
In 1957, Connie Hall signed a contract with Mercury Records. Her first song was a duet with Jimmie Skinner called "We've Got Things In Common." This song was very popular and reached the Top 10 on the music charts.
The next year, 1958, Connie released her first song as a solo artist. It was called "I'm the Girl In the USA," and it also became a hit.
The year 1959 was even better for Connie. Her song "The Bottle or Me" became a Top 40 country hit. In 1960, Connie joined Decca Records, a famous record label. Her producer, Harry Silverstein, helped her create her biggest hit. This song was "It's Not Wrong," and it reached the Top 20 on the country music charts. Another song, "There's Poison In Your Hand," also made it to the Top 25.
Connie stayed with Decca Records for three more years. During this time, she released seven more popular songs, including "Sleep, Baby Sleep" and "Fool Me Once." She also performed on famous country music shows like the Grand Ole Opry, Louisiana Hayride, and Midwestern Hayride. In 1964, Connie moved to Musicor Records, where she continued to make music until 1967.
