Consthum (Luxembourgish: Konstem) is a small village located in northern Luxembourg. It used to be a separate local government area known as a "commune."
On January 1, 2012, the Consthum commune joined with two other communes, Hoscheid and Hosingen. Together, they formed a new, larger commune called Parc Hosingen. This change helped combine local services and resources.
As of 2023, about 299 people live in the village of Consthum.
What was the former commune of Consthum?
A "commune" in Luxembourg is like a local district or a small town area. It has its own local government that manages things like roads, schools, and public services for the people living there.
The former commune of Consthum included a few different places:
- Consthum (the main village)
- Holzthum (another village)
- Geyershof (a small place, sometimes called a "lieu-dit")
