Like all cone snails, Conus anabathrum is a predatory animal. This means it hunts and eats other creatures. These snails are also venomous. They can deliver a "sting" if handled. Because of this, it's best to observe live cone snails without touching them.

Scientists have identified different forms or types of Conus anabathrum. These are called subspecies.
