History of Conway Springs
Conway Springs was started in 1884. The city got its name from two things: Conway Township and a special mineral spring nearby. A mineral spring is a natural spring where water flows from the ground and contains dissolved minerals.
The very first house in Conway Springs was built by Captain Hiram Cranmer.
