Cosby is a small village located in Andrew County, Missouri, in the United States. In 2020, about 114 people lived there, according to the 2020 census. It is part of the larger St. Joseph metropolitan area, which includes parts of Missouri and Kansas.

History of Cosby
Cosby was first settled in the late 1870s. The village later moved about one mile in 1885. This move happened because a new railroad line was built to that spot. The village was named after Cosby Miller, who was the child of one of the very first settlers in the area. A post office, where people send and receive mail, has been open in Cosby since 1879.
