Roberto Fidel Ernesto Sorokin Esparza was born in Rosario, Santa Fe, Argentina. When he was three years old, his family moved to Concordia in the Entre Ríos region. Later, he returned to Rosario. There, he joined a music group called Luz Mala. This group even recorded an album together.
Becoming a Songwriter for Stars
In the late 1990s, Coti started writing songs for many famous musicians. He wrote hits for artists like Andrés Calamaro, Julieta Venegas, Paulina Rubio, Natalia Oreiro, Los Enanitos Verdes, Diego Torres, and Alejandro Lerner. His talent for songwriting quickly became well-known.
