Country Thunder is a super fun music festival! It brings country music concerts to different places in North America every year. Imagine a huge party with your favorite country stars!
These festivals have been happening for a long time. They started in Arizona in 1993 and in Wisconsin in 1996. Later, they added festivals in Saskatchewan (2005), Alberta (2016), and Florida (2019).
At each Country Thunder event, you'll find music on many stages. The main stage features famous national artists playing all day long. There's also a smaller stage where local musicians can show off their talent. It's a great way to discover new music!

Country Thunder Arizona
Country Thunder Arizona takes place at the Canyon Moon Ranch in Florence, Arizona. This festival usually runs from Thursday to Sunday during the first week of April. You can buy a ticket for just one day or a pass for the whole weekend. There are also special seats you can reserve if you want to be closer to the action!
Many big names in country music have played here. Some past headliners include Morgan Wallen, Eric Church, Chris Young, Dierks Bentley, Blake Shelton, Thomas Rhett, Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan, Toby Keith, and Cole Swindell.
Country Thunder Wisconsin
Country Thunder Wisconsin is held in Twin Lakes, Wisconsin. This festival is so popular that it won an award! In 2015, it was named "Festival of the Year" by the Academy of Country Music.
The Wisconsin festival usually happens from Thursday to Sunday during the third weekend of July. Famous performers like Luke Bryan, Sam Hunt, Toby Keith, and Dierks Bentley have entertained fans there.
Country Thunder Saskatchewan
The Country Thunder festival in Saskatchewan has an interesting history. In 2005, a company called Premier Global Productions took over a festival called Rock 'N The Valley. They changed it back to a country music festival and called it the Craven Country Jamboree.
Then, in October 2016, it officially became part of the Country Thunder family. Now it's known as Country Thunder Saskatchewan!
Country Thunder Alberta
In August 2016, Country Thunder started a new festival in Calgary, Alberta. It's held at Prairie Winds Park.
Some of the amazing artists who have headlined this festival include Big & Rich, Tim McGraw, Brad Paisley, Blake Shelton, and Toby Keith.
Country Thunder Florida
The newest Country Thunder festival started in March 2019. It takes place in Kissimmee, Florida, at Osceola Heritage Park.

Award-Winning Festivals
Country Thunder festivals are known for being awesome! Both Country Thunder Wisconsin (in 2015) and Country Thunder Arizona (in 2018) were honored with the "Festival of the Year" award by the Academy of Country Music. This shows how much fun and how well-organized these events are!
