About Crawford Lake
Crawford Lake is a natural body of water that plays a part in the local environment. It's a great example of the many lakes found in the beautiful Canadian province of Ontario.
Where is Crawford Lake?
Crawford Lake is nestled in the northern part of Ontario, within the Timiskaming District. This area is known for its many lakes and forests, making it a popular spot for nature lovers. The lake is quite remote, adding to its natural charm.
How Does the Water Flow?
Water flows out of Crawford Lake from its northeast side through a small, unnamed creek. This creek then empties into Long Lake. From Long Lake, the water continues its journey through Gowganda Lake and then into the Montreal River. Eventually, the Montreal River flows into Lake Timiskaming, which is a large lake connected to the famous Ottawa River. This whole system shows how water travels from smaller lakes to bigger rivers and beyond!
