Creative MuVo facts for kids
The Creative MuVo was a series of digital audio players. These small devices let you listen to music. They were made by a company called Creative Technology Limited. The first MuVo players came out in 2002. Most MuVo models used flash memory to save music and other files. A few special models, like the MuVo² and MuVo² FM, used tiny hard drives called microdrives instead.
One cool thing about many MuVo players was their unique design. They were split into two parts. The smaller part was the actual music player. It had all the buttons, plugs, and sometimes a microphone. This part also had a USB plug that looked like a regular computer plug. The bigger part held a single AAA battery. This battery gave power to the player. The larger part also had a special slot for the player's USB plug.
Because the player part had a USB plug, you could plug it directly into a computer. It worked like a USB flash drive. This meant you didn't usually need special software to move files. You could store music files and other documents on it. So, it was also a handy way to carry your files around! Some models, like the MuVo Slim or MuVo Vidz, had a different design. The MuVo N200 looked like a regular MuVo but its two parts were stuck together. Many MuVo players also had a built-in microphone. This let you record sounds, even if the quality wasn't super high. The Creative MuVo line of players stopped being made in 2009.
Different MuVo Models
There were many different models in the Creative MuVo family. Most of them shared a similar look and design. However, some models, like the MuVo² and MuVo Slim, looked quite different. Each model often had unique features or storage sizes.
