Early Life and Career
Cristina was born in Moncalieri, a town near Turin in Piedmont, Italy. She has a younger sister named Serena.
In 2004, Cristina won the beauty pageant Miss Italia. This win helped her start her career in television with RAI, one of Italy's main TV networks. She had a small role in Zecchino d'Oro, a TV show for children. Later, she won the second season of Ballando con le Stelle in 2005-2006. This show is the Italian version of Dancing With the Stars, where celebrities learn to dance with professional partners.
Her TV Journey
After her success, Cristina continued to work on many popular TV programs. In 2006, she took over from Alessia Marcuzzi on the Mediaset program Le Iene. She also worked on Festivalbar with Ilary Blasi, which was a music show. In 2008, she hosted Real TV on Italia 1, which showed real-life stories.
