Crown Mountain is a cool mountain located north of North Vancouver, British Columbia. It's part of the North Shore Mountains, which are themselves a small part of the larger Coast Mountains. You can easily see Crown Mountain from most of Vancouver and nearby areas.
A unique rock formation called The Camel sits just east of the main summit. The mountain also has west and north peaks. Crown Mountain is located near the edges of Lynn Headwaters Regional Park, a large natural area.

Exploring Crown Mountain
Crown Mountain has a long history of outdoor activities. People enjoy hiking, rock climbing, and mountaineering here. The most common way to reach the mountain is from the Grouse Mountain ski area.
Is Crown Mountain Hard to Climb?
Climbing Crown Mountain is considered a very challenging adventure. The very top of the mountain requires scrambling. This means you'll need to use both your hands and feet to climb over rocks. It's not like regular walking or hiking.
Because of the steep and rocky sections, there's a risk of falling. This climb is not recommended for beginners. It's important to be well-prepared and have experience.
