Cuarto (which means Fourth in Spanish) is a neighborhood, or barrio, in Ponce, Puerto Rico. It is one of 31 barrios in the city. Cuarto is also one of the six main neighborhoods in the heart of Ponce. It was established a long time ago, in 1878.

Where is Cuarto Located?
Cuarto is a city neighborhood. It is in the southern part of the Ponce municipality. It is also southeast of Plaza Las Delicias, which is the main square in the city.
Cuarto's Borders
Cuarto has clear borders. To the north, it is bordered by Comercio Street and Francisco Parra Duperón Street. To the south, it is bordered by Ramón Power Street. On the west side, you will find Eugenio Maria de Hostos Avenue and Marina Streets. The Rio Portugues forms its eastern border.
When looking at other neighborhoods, Cuarto is next to Tercero to the north. To the south, it borders Canas Urbano. On its west side is Primero, and to the east is San Antón.

Cuarto covers about 0.2 square miles of land. It does not have any water areas. In 2010, about 1,999 people lived in Cuarto. This means there were about 12,493 people per square mile.
Some smaller communities are found within Barrio Cuarto. These include Belgica and El Bosque.
