Cutlerville is a community in Kent County, Michigan, in the United States. It is an unincorporated community and a census-designated place (CDP). This means it's a specific area that the government counts for population data, but it doesn't have its own city government.
In 2020, about 17,849 people lived in Cutlerville. The community is mostly located within Byron Township. A smaller part of it is found in Gaines Township. Cutlerville is also part of the larger Grand Rapids metropolitan area. It is located about 3 miles (4.8 km) south of the city of Grand Rapids.

History of Cutlerville
Cutlerville was first settled in 1853 by a man named John Cutler. He moved there from New York state with his wife and ten children. John Cutler bought a large piece of land, about 312 acres (1.26 km²), and built a log cabin for his family.
Later, in 1891, John Cutler's son, John I. Cutler, built a large house known as the Cutler mansion. This mansion became very important in 1910. It became the main building for the Pine Rest Christian Mental Health Services, which is a well-known healthcare center.
Geography of Cutlerville
Cutlerville covers a total area of about 5.89 square miles (15.25 km²). Most of this area, about 5.87 square miles (15.20 km²), is land. Only a very small part, about 0.02 square miles (0.05 km²), is water.
Natural Features
The Buck Creek flows through the Cutlerville community. This creek then flows north until it reaches the Grand River in the city of Grandville.
Location and Borders
Cutlerville is located in the southwestern part of Kent County. It is mainly within Byron Township to the west. A smaller part extends into Gaines Township to the east. To the north, Cutlerville shares borders with the cities of Wyoming and Kentwood.
Major Roads
Two important highways pass through or near Cutlerville:
US 131 is a major highway that runs from south to north right through the middle of the community.
M-6 runs from west to east through the northern part of Cutlerville. It has an interchange, which is a special type of road junction, with U.S. Route 131.
