Cypronia is a company from Slovakia that makes video games. It's known as an indie video game developer, which means it's an independent company not owned by a larger game publisher. Cypronia is based in Michalovce, a city in Slovakia.

This company creates games for many different gaming systems. These include computers (like Microsoft Windows), handheld consoles (like Nintendo DS, Nintendo DSi, Nintendo 3DS, Nintendo Switch), and home consoles (like Wii U, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4).

History of Cypronia

Cypronia started making games way back in 1997. Back then, it had a different name: Ablaze Entertainment. At first, they made two games for a computer system called Amiga.

In 2001, the company changed its name to Cypron Studios. At this time, they also started focusing on making games for Microsoft Windows computers. They released several games, many of which were real-time strategy games. In these games, players make decisions and control characters or armies in real-time, without taking turns.

Later, the company changed its name again to Cypronia. They also shifted their focus to making games for Nintendo consoles, like the Nintendo DS.

Cypronia became very well-known when they released a game called Cube Life: Island Survival. This game is a sandbox video game for the Wii U. In a sandbox game, players have a lot of freedom to explore and create. Cube Life: Island Survival became very popular. It reached the number one spot in Europe, number two in America, and number three in Japan on the Nintendo eShop charts.
