Dättlikon is a small town, also called a municipality, located in the Winterthur area of Switzerland. It is part of the canton of Zürich.

The History of Dättlikon
Dättlikon has a long history. The first time it was ever written about was in the year 1241. Back then, its name was spelled Tetelinkhoven.

Dättlikon covers an area of about 2.9 square kilometers (1.1 square miles). A big part of this land, about 43%, is used for farming. Another large section, 45.7%, is covered by forests.
About 9.6% of the land has buildings or roads on it. The remaining small part, 1.7%, is made up of natural features like rivers. In 1996, houses and other buildings took up 5.6% of the total area. Roads and other ways to get around made up 3.8%.
The town is located on a southern slope of the Irchel hills. It sits in the lower part of the Töss Valley. Dättlikon includes the main village and a smaller settlement called Blumetshalden an der Töss.
