Besides the main village of Neftenbach, this municipality also includes smaller settlements. These are called Hünikon, Aesch, Riet and Irchelhöfen.

History of Neftenbach

Neftenbach was first mentioned in official records in the year 1209. Back then, it was known as Neftinbach.

The village used to be owned by powerful noblemen called barons from a family named Wart. In 1921, the people of Neftenbach decided to use the coat of arms (a special symbol or emblem) of these barons as their own municipal symbol.
