RaaShaun Casey (born September 3, 1977), known professionally as DJ Envy, is an American disc jockey (DJ), record producer, and radio personality. He is famous for being one of the three hosts of the popular radio show The Breakfast Club on Power 105.1.

Early Life and Education
RaaShaun Casey was born in New York City. He grew up in Queens, New York. When he was young, he was mentored by a neighborhood DJ named DJ Clue. DJ Clue helped him learn how to be a DJ in the mid-1990s.
DJ Envy went to Hampton University. He graduated in 1999 with a degree in business management.
Family Life
DJ Envy is married to Gia Casey. They have been married since the early 2000s and have six children together. Envy and Gia often share stories about their relationship. They believe that being open and honest helps them stay close. In 2017, they started a podcast called The Casey Crew. This podcast talks about relationships and family life. In 2022, they also released a book together called Real Life, Real Love: Life Lessons on Joy, Pain, and the Magic That Holds Us Together.
DJ Envy's Career
Becoming a Radio Star
In the early 2000s, DJ Envy started hosting commercials and playing exclusive songs for famous artists like Jay-Z and 50 Cent. He then signed with DJ Clue's record label, Desert Storm. In 2003, he released his first album, The Desert Storm Mixtape: Blok Party, Vol. 1.
DJ Envy began mixing music for the "Takin' it to the Streets" show on Hot 97. He later became a co-host for Hot 97's morning show. He also had his own mix shows on Hot 97.
On December 6, 2010, DJ Envy joined Angela Yee and Charlamagne tha God to host the morning show on Power 105. This show became known as The Breakfast Club. It is now a very popular syndicated radio show. DJ Envy also hosts a weekly show on Sirius XM Radio's Hip-Hop Nation.
Music and TV Appearances
DJ Envy has appeared in music videos and on TV shows. He was on 106 & Park and Entourage. He also hosted a show called Tha Corner on the Music Choice channel. In 2010, he became a VJ for MTV2's Sucker Free Countdown.
In 2015, DJ Envy released a song called "Still A Fan." It featured the artist Rico Love.
Drive Your Dreams Car Show
DJ Envy loves cars! He started his own car show called the Drive your Dreams Car Show. The first show was in 2018 in Secaucus, New Jersey. It's a big event where people can see luxurious and custom cars. Many celebrities also show off their cars there.
The show travels to different cities like Atlantic City, Atlanta, and Detroit. Before it was called Drive your Dreams Car Show, DJ Envy had named it "Carchella." However, he had to change the name after a legal issue with the Coachella music festival.
Awards and Recognition
DJ Envy and his Breakfast Club co-hosts have received many honors.
On January 24, 2020, the Mayor of Atlantic City, New Jersey, declared January 23 as "Breakfast Club Day." DJ Envy also received an official Key to the City of Atlantic City. This was for his great work in promoting the city.
In August 2020, DJ Envy, Angela Yee, and Charlamagne tha God were inducted into the Radio Hall of Fame. This is a huge honor for radio personalities.
