Uchenna Martin Anyanwu (born August 30, 1979) is an American DJ, music producer, and radio host. He is better known by his stage names, Uch or DJ Uch. He was born in New York City and grew up in The Bronx, New York.

DJ Uch's Journey in Music
Starting in Radio
DJ Uch began his career as a DJ on the radio. He hosted a show called Pump It Up Radio on Harlem's WHCR-FM. He also worked as a mixshow DJ for WPTY in Long Island.
During his time in radio, he got to interview many famous artists in dance music. Some of these artists include Matthew Dear, Chus & Ceballos, Kaskade, and David Guetta.
Becoming a Music Producer
Uch started making his own music in 2008. He has created remixes for other artists like Lori Michaels and Oba Frank Lords. A remix is when a DJ takes an existing song and changes it to make a new version.
Today, he produces music for several record labels, including Todd Terry's InHouse Records. In 2011, he released an original music collection called the Imo State EP. This was for the label Monitor Sound Recordings, led by Giuseppe D. Since 2013, Uch has also used "Imo State" as another name for some of his music.
