Pierre David Guetta (born 7 November 1967) is a famous French DJ and music producer. He has sold over 10 million albums and 65 million singles worldwide. His songs have been streamed more than 30 billion times on Spotify. DJ Mag voted Guetta the number one DJ in the world in 2011, and again from 2020 to 2023. In 2013, Billboard magazine called his song "When Love Takes Over" (with Kelly Rowland) the best dance-pop collaboration ever.
David Guetta released his first album, Just a Little More Love, in 2002. He became very famous with his fourth album, One Love (2009). This album included hit songs like "When Love Takes Over", "Gettin' Over You", and "Memories". His 2011 album, Nothing but the Beat, also had many popular songs. These included "Where Them Girls At" (with Flo Rida and Nicki Minaj), "Without You" (with Usher), and "Titanium" (with Sia). In 2018, he released his seventh album, 7. He also created a new music style called "future rave" with producer Morten Breum. In 2022, his song "I'm Good (Blue)" with Bebe Rexha became a huge hit.
Guetta has won many awards, including two Grammy Awards. He also won an American Music Award and a Billboard Music Award.

Early Life and Becoming a DJ
Pierre David Guetta was born and grew up in Paris, France. His father was a sociologist, and his mother was from Belgium. David Guetta has a half-brother, Bernard Guetta, who is a well-known journalist.
Guetta started his career as a DJ in Paris clubs in 1984. He first played popular songs. In 1987, he discovered house music on French radio. The next year, he began hosting his own club nights. In 1990, he released his first song, "Nation Rap," with French rapper Sidney Duteil. In the mid-1990s, Guetta played in famous clubs like Le Centrale and Le Boy. In 1994, he released "Up & Away" with American singer Robert Owens. This song became a small hit in clubs.
First Albums and Growing Fame
In 2001, Guetta started Gum Productions with Joachim Garraud. That same year, he released his first big hit, "Just a Little More Love," with American singer Chris Willis. Guetta's first album, also called Just a Little More Love, came out in 2002. It sold over 300,000 copies. Other songs from this album included "Love Don't Let Me Go" and "People Come People Go". In 2003, Guetta released a music collection called F*ck Me I'm Famous. This was named after his popular parties in Ibiza.

Nothing but the Beat and New Projects
Guetta's fifth album, Nothing but the Beat, came out on 26 August 2011. It was a double album, with one disc for vocal songs and one for electronic music. Guetta wanted to add rock influences to his dance music. The first song, "Where Them Girls At" with Flo Rida and Nicki Minaj, was released in May 2011. In 2012, Guetta released an updated version of the album called Nothing but the Beat 2.0. This version included new songs like "She Wolf (Falling to Pieces)" with Sia again. In November 2015, Guetta re-released the album as Listen Again.
In 2015, UEFA announced that Guetta would be the music ambassador for UEFA Euro 2016. He created the official song for the tournament, "This One's for You" with Swedish singer Zara Larsson. He performed this song at the opening and closing ceremonies of the event. In 2016, Guetta also released "No Worries" with Disciples. Personal Life

David Guetta married French nightclub manager Cathy Lobé in 1992. They had two children: a son named Tim Elvis Eric (born 2004) and a daughter named Angie (born 2007). After 22 years of marriage, they divorced in 2014.
In 2015, Forbes magazine estimated that Guetta earned $37 million that year. In 2023, Guetta announced he was expecting a child with his partner Jessica Ledon. Their son, Cyan, was born on 17 March 2024.
