Bleta "Bebe" Rexha (born August 30, 1989) is an American singer and songwriter. She is known for her powerful voice and catchy songs. Bebe Rexha signed with Warner Records in 2013. She first became famous for writing songs for other artists. One of her most notable works was co-writing "The Monster" for Eminem, which won a Grammy Award.

After writing for others, Bebe Rexha started her own singing career. Her first extended play (EP), I Don't Wanna Grow Up (2015), included the song "I'm Gonna Show You Crazy". This song became popular in several countries. She released more EPs in 2017, All Your Fault: Pt. 1 and All Your Fault: Pt. 2. These EPs featured songs like "I Got You" and "The Way I Are (Dance with Somebody)".

Early Life and Musical Beginnings

Bebe Rexha was born Bleta Rexha on August 30, 1989, in Brooklyn, New York City. Her parents are from Albanian families in North Macedonia. Her father, Flamur Rexha, moved to the U.S. when he was 21. Her mother, Bukurije, was born in the United States. The name "Bleta" means "bee" in Albanian. Bebe said that people started calling her "Bebe" as a nickname. When she was six, her family moved to Staten Island. She has a brother named Florent.

Bebe Rexha taught herself to play the trumpet, guitar, and piano. She attended Tottenville High School where she sang in the choir. She also took part in many school musicals. In high school, she found out she was a coloratura soprano, which means she has a very high singing voice.

As a teenager, she entered a songwriting contest for the National Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences. She won the "Best Teen Songwriter" award, beating about 700 other contestants. This led her to sign a contract with talent scout Samantha Cox. Samantha encouraged Bebe to take songwriting classes in Manhattan.

Bebe Rexha had a brief record deal that ended. In 2010, she met Fall Out Boy's bassist Pete Wentz. They started working together in a recording studio. She became the lead singer of Wentz's new band, Black Cards. The band performed live and released several songs. In 2012, Bebe left the band to focus on her solo career. Later that year, she received the Abe Olman Scholarship for her songwriting.

All Your Fault Series: 2016–2017

On October 28, 2016, Bebe Rexha released "I Got You". This song reached number 43 on the Billboard Hot 100. The music video for it was released in January 2017. Her EP All Your Fault: Pt. 1 was released on February 17, 2017. It reached number 51 on the Billboard 200. In March 2017, Bebe started her first solo tour, the All Your Fault Tour. She performed in North America and Europe.
