Quavious Keyate Marshall (born April 2, 1991), known as Quavo, is an American rapper, singer, songwriter, and record producer. He is famous for being a member of the hip-hop group Migos. The group was formed in 2008 with his nephew Takeoff and their friend Offset. Migos released four successful albums before they stopped making music together in 2023.
As a solo artist, Quavo has been featured on many popular songs. Six of these songs reached the top ten on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. These include "Congratulations" by Post Malone and "Intentions by Justin Bieber. He was also on "I'm the One" by DJ Khaled, which reached number one on the chart. His first solo album, Quavo Huncho (2018), reached number two on the Billboard 200 chart. His second album, Rocket Power (2023), was released to honor Takeoff, who passed away in 2022.

Early Life and School
Quavious Keyate Marshall was born on April 2, 1991, in Athens, Georgia. He grew up in Gwinnett County, Georgia, which is near Atlanta. The three members of Migos, Quavo, Takeoff, and Offset, all grew up together.
Quavo went to Berkmar High School. He was the starting quarterback for the school's football team in 2009, during his senior year. He later completed his high school education and graduated in May 2020.
Music Career
Migos was formed in 2008 by Quavo, Takeoff, and Offset. Quavo and Takeoff were related and grew up together. The group was first called Polo Club but changed their name to "Migos." They released their first mixtape, Juug Season, in 2011, followed by No Label in 2012.
Rising to Fame
Migos became well-known in 2013 with their song "Versace." The song became even more popular when Drake made a remix of it. This helped the song reach number 99 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Quavo also had his first solo song, "Champions," which featured other artists.
After Migos' second album, Culture, reached number one on the US Billboard 200 chart, Quavo started appearing on many other popular songs. These included "Congratulations" and "I'm the One." He also worked with rapper Travis Scott on the song "Pick Up the Phone."
In April 2017, Quavo was featured on the song "Go Off" for The Fate of the Furious: The Album. He also released "Ice Tray" with Lil Yachty in December 2017. This song reached number 74 on the Billboard Hot 100.
Solo Albums and Collaborations
On December 21, 2017, Quavo announced that he would release a collaborative album with Travis Scott called Huncho Jack, Jack Huncho. The album came out the next day and debuted at number 3 on the Billboard 200. Seven songs from the album also appeared on the Billboard Hot 100.
Migos released their album Culture II on January 26, 2018. After this, Quavo announced his first solo project, Quavo Huncho. This album was released on October 12, 2018. It included popular songs like "Workin Me," which became his highest-charting solo song. The album featured many guest artists such as Drake, Cardi B, and Travis Scott.
In May 2019, Quavo performed his song "Future" with Madonna at the Eurovision Song Contest 2019. In February 2020, he was featured on "Intentions" from Justin Bieber's album Changes. This song reached number five on the Billboard Hot 100. Migos then released their fourth album, Culture III, in 2021.
Unc & Phew and Rocket Power
In October 2022, Quavo and Takeoff formed a duo called Unc & Phew. They released a collaborative album titled Only Built for Infinity Links on October 7, 2022. Quavo mentioned that he wanted to focus on their career as a duo.
Sadly, on November 1, 2022, Takeoff passed away in Houston, Texas. He was with Quavo and others at a bowling alley. Following this, Quavo became a strong voice against gun violence. He met with Vice President Kamala Harris in September 2023 to discuss the issue. In March 2024, Quavo started the Spark Grants initiative. This program gives money to organizations working to prevent gun violence in Atlanta.
In early 2023, Quavo released three songs, "Honey Bun," "Greatness," and "Without You," dedicated to Takeoff. He then announced his second solo album, Rocket Power, which was released on August 18, 2023. The album included the hit song "Turn Yo Clic Up" featuring Future. Rocket Power reached number 18 on the US Billboard 200 chart.
On July 3, 2024, Quavo released a new song called "Tough" with singer Lana Del Rey. They also released a music video for the song.

Acting Roles
Quavo and the other members of Migos appeared on an episode of Donald Glover's TV series Atlanta in 2016. He also had a small role in the TV series Star in 2018. In 2019, he was a guest star on Black-ish and HBO's Ballers. In 2020, he appeared in Justin Bieber: Seasons, a YouTube series about Justin Bieber. He also made a guest appearance on Narcos: Mexico.
Quavo has also acted in movies. He appeared in the thriller film Savage Salvation in 2022. In 2023, he starred in the film Praise This with Chloe Bailey.
NBA All-Star Celebrity Games
Quavo is also known for his basketball skills. He won the MVP Award (Most Valuable Player) at the 2018 NBA All-Star Celebrity Game. He scored 19 points in that game. He also played in the NBA All-Star Celebrity Game in 2019 and 2020.
Fan Controlled Football League
Quavo is one of the owners of the FCF Glacier Boyz. This is a team in the Fan Controlled Football League.
