Daine Laurie (born 20 July 1999) is a professional rugby league player from Australia. He plays as a fullback or five-eighth for the Penrith Panthers in the National Rugby League (NRL).
He has also played for the Wests Tigers in the NRL.

About Daine Laurie
Laurie was born in Sydney, Australia. He grew up in Iluka, New South Wales, which is where his family comes from. He is from the Indigenous Australian Bundjalung and Yaegl people. He is also related to other rugby league players, Cody Walker and Daine Laurie (his uncle).
Daine Laurie started playing junior rugby league for the Lower Clarence Magpies. He also played for the Grafton Ghosts. In 2017, he joined the Penrith Panthers club.

Starting Out in Juniors
In 2017, Laurie joined the Penrith Panthers' junior team, playing in the S. G. Ball Cup. The next year, in 2018, he was named the best player in Penrith's Jersey Flegg Cup team.
First Steps in the NRL (2020)
Daine Laurie made his first big game debut in August 2020. He played for the Penrith Panthers in the 2020 NRL season. His first game was against the Canberra Raiders.
Moving to Wests Tigers (2021-2023)
Laurie signed with the Wests Tigers club for the 2021 season. He was set to stay with them until the end of 2023. He had a great first season with the Tigers. He was even nominated for a special award called the RLPA Players' Champion. However, his 2021 season ended early in August. He broke a bone in his leg during a game against the New Zealand Warriors.
In 2022, Laurie played 19 games for the Wests Tigers. Later that year, in September, he played for the Australian Men's Prime Minister's XIII team. He scored a try in their big win against the Papuan New Guinea Prime Minister's XIII.
In the 2023 NRL season, Laurie played 11 games for the Wests Tigers. He scored two tries that year. The Wests Tigers team finished last in the competition, which is sometimes called getting the "Wooden Spoon".
Back to the Panthers (2024)
On July 21, 2023, it was announced that Daine Laurie would return to his old club, the Penrith Panthers. He signed a one-year deal to start playing for them again in 2024. On July 3, 2024, Laurie signed another one-year deal to stay with Penrith. He played 15 games for the Penrith Panthers in the 2024 NRL season. Even though the Panthers won the Grand Final that year, Laurie did not play in the final game.
