About Dalibor Riccardi

Football Career

Riccardi played football for several years in San Marino's top league, the Campionato Sammarinese di Calcio. He started his career with S.S. Cosmos in 2008.

As a defender, Riccardi played four matches for Cosmos in the 2009–10 season. He also played six matches for SP La Fiorita during the same season. From 2010 to 2013, he was part of SS Folgore Falciano Calcio, playing in 40 matches and scoring two goals.

In the 2013–14 season, he started with AC Libertas, scoring one goal in seven games. He then returned to Folgore and helped them finish as runner-ups in the league. Riccardi ended his football career with AC Virtus from 2014 to 2016, where he played 11 matches. In total, he played 71 matches in San Marino's top football league and scored three goals.

Political Journey

Riccardi began his political career in 2010. He was elected to the local council in Serravalle, where he served two terms. In 2016, he was elected to San Marino's parliament, called the Grand and General Council. He joined as a member of the Party of Socialists and Democrats (PSD).

At that time, his father, Marino Riccardi, was also serving as a Captain Regent. Dalibor became the leader of the PSD party. However, in 2018, he left the party. He then helped create a new party called Riforme e Sviluppo (RES) with other members who had also left the PSD.

After being re-elected to parliament in 2019, Riccardi helped form the Libera San Marino (Libera) party in 2020. He became the president of this new party. In the Grand and General Council, he worked on important groups called commissions. These groups focused on topics like foreign affairs and territorial policies.

For the 2024 general elections, his party, Libera, teamed up with the Socialist Party (PS). Later that year, Dalibor Riccardi was chosen as one of the two Captains Regent. He shares this important role with Francesca Civerchia. They will serve for a six-month term starting in October 2024.
