Dallon James Weekes, born on May 4, 1981, is an American singer, songwriter, and musician. He was a member of the band Panic! at the Disco from 2009 to 2017. He played bass, keyboards, and sang backup vocals for them. Before that, he led an indie band called The Brobecks. Today, he is the lead singer of the band I Dont Know How But They Found Me.

Dallon Weekes' Music Journey

Starting with The Brobecks (2002–2013)

Dallon Weekes started The Brobecks as a fun weekend project. This was after he moved back to Utah from Oklahoma. The band's name came from someone Dallon knew in school. The first members were Weekes, Matt Glass (who was a photographer and producer), and another high school friend.

After a few years, they recorded songs in a basement and played shows. Different record labels became interested in them. Weekes was even offered solo deals if he left his bandmates. But he chose to stay with his friends.

The Brobecks opened for popular bands like Fall Out Boy. Even with all the interest, they stayed an independent band.

In 2012, Weekes released an album called Quiet Title EP for The Brobecks. It had two songs, "Anyone I Know" and "Cluster Hug." These songs were written for Panic! at the Disco's fourth album, but they didn't fit the band's style.

In late 2024, Weekes' record label announced a remastered version of The Brobecks' 2005 album, Happiest Nuclear Winter. It was released on streaming services in January 2025. Also, Matt Glass announced a documentary about the band called The Brobecks: Not Dead Yet.

Joining Panic! at the Disco (2009–2017)

In 2009, two members left Panic! at the Disco. Weekes and Ian Crawford joined as temporary touring musicians. This changed in 2010 when Weekes was asked to join the band permanently. However, it wasn't officially announced until 2012.

As a full member, Weekes helped create the cover art for Panic! at the Disco's third album, Vices & Virtues. He even appeared on the cover, standing in the background. He also helped write most of the songs on their fourth album, Too Weird To Live, Too Rare To Die!.

In 2015, Weekes was nominated for Best Bassist at the Alternative Press Music Awards. Later that year, he shared that he was no longer a full-time member. He said he wasn't helping with new songs anymore. He explained in 2020 that after one album, the band started hiring other songwriters. Weekes officially left Panic! at the Disco on December 27, 2017.

I Dont Know How But They Found Me (2016–present)

Weekes started writing and recording songs on his own while touring with Panic! at the Disco. His former bandmate from The Brobecks, Ryan Seaman, played drums on these songs. Weekes then suggested they form a duo called I Dont Know How But They Found Me.

Weekes and Seaman started playing small, secret shows in late 2016. They wanted to avoid using their fame from other bands. They officially signed with Fearless Records in 2018. They released their first album, 1981 Extended Play, in November 2018. A Christmas album, Christmas Drag, followed in 2019. Their first full album, Razzmatazz, came out in 2020.

In 2010, Weekes shared a free song called "Skid Row." It featured Brendon Urie from Panic! at the Disco and other musicians.

In 2014, Weekes released a Christmas song called "Sickly Sweet Holidays." It featured Ryan Seaman on drums and Tyler Joseph from Twenty One Pilots on backup vocals.

Starting in 2015, Weekes began a series called "TWOMINCVRS." He released short cover songs (two minutes or less) on his YouTube channel. In 2016, he released another Christmas song, "Please Don't Jump (It's Christmas)." Ryan Seaman played drums on this one too.

Personal Life

Dallon Weekes married Breezy Douglas on March 18, 2006. They have two children together. As of 2021, Weekes is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He has ADHD and autism.
