Damián Iguacén Borau (born February 12, 1916 – died November 24, 2020) was a Spanish Catholic Bishop. He was part of the Roman Catholic Church. When he passed away, he was known as the oldest Catholic bishop in the entire world.

Early Life and Becoming a Priest
Damián Iguacén Borau was born in a town called Fuencalderas, in Spain. This was on February 12, 1916. He decided to become a priest and was officially ordained on June 7, 1941. This means he became a priest when he was 25 years old.
Serving as a Bishop
After many years as a priest, Damián Iguacén Borau became a bishop. His first role as a bishop was in the Barbastro Diocese. He started there on October 11, 1970.
Later, he moved to lead the Diocese of Teruel and Albarracín. This change happened on September 23, 1974.
His last assignment was to the Diocese of Tenerife. He became the bishop there on August 14, 1984. He continued to serve the church in Tenerife until he retired.
Retirement and Later Years
Bishop Iguacén Borau retired from his duties on June 12, 1991. Even after retirement, he remained an important figure in the Catholic Church.
He lived a very long life. In February 2016, he celebrated his 100th birthday. This made him a centenarian, someone who lives to be 100 years old or more.
His Passing
Damián Iguacén Borau passed away on November 24, 2020. He was 104 years old at the time of his death. He died in Huesca, Spain. His death was caused by pneumonia, which was linked to COVID-19.
