Dan Lobb (born on January 7, 1972) is a British former tennis player and a TV presenter. He is well-known for hosting the morning show Daybreak on ITV Breakfast from 2010 to 2012. Later, from 2015 to 2016, he also co-hosted Cowboy Builders on Channel 5.

Early Life and Education
Dan Lobb grew up in a place called Colden Common, which is near Winchester in Hampshire, England. He went to Peter Symonds College in Winchester. There, he studied subjects like Biology, Chemistry, and Economics.
Dan Lobb's Tennis Career
Dan Lobb received a tennis scholarship to attend the University of Tennessee at Martin in the USA. This scholarship was arranged with help from College Prospects of America. He was recognized as an All-American for his tennis skills. He also graduated from the Business school with high honors.
After coaching tennis at different clubs in London, Lobb played tennis professionally for three years. In 1997, he reached a high ranking of 18th in Britain. He stopped playing professionally in 1998. After that, he spent three years combining tennis coaching with modeling. He also worked in sports PR and marketing in London.
Dan Lobb's Broadcasting Career
In 2001, Dan Lobb started working part-time at a local cable TV station. He helped the sports producer and later got the chance to present a live show. From there, he moved to 5 News. In January 2002, he was offered a contract by Sky Sports. He mostly presented on Sky Sports News.
In October 2007, he began presenting a show called The Club on Sky Poker. This was a fun magazine show about Poker. He presented it with Matt Broughton. On December 30, 2008, during a live Sky Sports News program, it was announced that it would be Lobb's last show on the channel. His co-presenter, Simon Thomas, thanked him for his seven years of work. Thomas also joked that Lobb was "still the only presenter to have beat Tim Henman". This was a funny reference to Lobb's past as a professional tennis player. In May 2009, Lobb became a sports presenter for Sky News.
Moving to Morning TV
Dan Lobb joined GMTV as the sports correspondent in January 2010. He then moved to the new morning show, Daybreak, when it started on September 6, 2010. He became the sports editor and a stand-in presenter. On September 2, he took over from Adrian Chiles as the Friday co-presenter of Daybreak. Then, on December 6, 2011, he took over from Chiles full-time for a while. Aled Jones was later chosen as the permanent replacement for Chiles. Dan Lobb left Daybreak on August 31, 2012.
Strictly Come Dancing and Other Shows
On September 6, 2011, it was announced that Dan Lobb would be a contestant on the 2011 series of Strictly Come Dancing on BBC One. He was partnered with professional dancer Katya Virshilas. He was the second person to be voted off the show. In January 2013, he presented a special Ping pong event for Sky Sports.
In 2015, Lobb returned to television as a co-presenter of Cowboy Builders on Channel 5. This show finished in 2016. Dan Lobb has also worked as a commentator for Wimbledon tennis broadcasts.
In 2023, he released his first documentary film, called Silver Servers. This film is about older tennis players, including famous ones like Kingdon Van Nostrand and John Powless.
