Dani Hernández's Club Career

Dani Hernández started his football journey in Spain. He played for many different teams before becoming a well-known player.

Early Football Days

Dani was born in Caracas, Venezuela. He spent his early career playing in lower Spanish football leagues until he was 25 years old. Most of these teams were in the Community of Madrid. He played for clubs like CF Rayo Majadahonda, CD Guadalajara, and Real Madrid C.

One of his memorable games was on October 26, 2010. He played for Real Murcia CF against Real Madrid in a cup match. Dani was named the best player of the match for his amazing saves. He also played for SD Huesca in the Segunda División (second division) for a short time.

Playing for Valladolid

On August 19, 2011, Dani joined Real Valladolid, a team in the second division. In his first year, he was mostly a backup goalkeeper. However, when the main goalkeeper got injured, Dani stepped up. He played brilliantly in the promotion playoffs. He helped his team get promoted back to La Liga, which is Spain's top football league. He only let in one goal in four games during these playoffs!

Dani continued to be the main goalkeeper in the 2012–13 season. He helped Valladolid stay in La Liga by finishing in 14th place. After that, he went on loan to Asteras Tripolis FC in Greece for a year. When he returned, he became a backup goalkeeper again.

Time at Tenerife

On January 15, 2015, Dani joined CD Tenerife, another team in the second division. He quickly became an important player for them. By May 2018, he had played 138 matches for the club. This made him one of the top three goalkeepers with the most games played for Tenerife in Spanish competitions. Later in his career at Tenerife, he played as a backup goalkeeper.

Moving to Fuenlabrada

On July 14, 2022, Dani, who was 36 years old, signed a two-year contract with CF Fuenlabrada. This team had recently been relegated to the Primera Federación, which is a lower league. He played for Fuenlabrada until 2023.

Playing for Venezuela
