Daniella grew up in a small Dutch village called Tuitjenhorn. She went to Sint Barbaraschool for elementary school. Her dad was a teacher, and her mom stayed home.
After that, she went to high school in Alkmaar. She rode her bike about 15 kilometers (9 miles) to school every day!

Becoming a Model
When Daniella was 18, a modeling agent discovered her. This happened at a shopping mall in Amsterdam. Soon after, she moved to Paris to work with a modeling agency. Later, she moved to New York City.
As a model, Daniella worked with many big brands. These included Armani Jeans, Aveeno, CoverGirl, L'Oréal, and Maybelline. She also appeared in a fashion show at the 68th Academy Awards ceremony.
For many years, Daniella was the main model for Aveeno. This brand sells natural skin and hair products. She stopped working with them in 2013.
