Danielle Monique Etienne (born January 16, 2001) is a talented soccer player. She plays as a midfielder for The Citadel Bulldogs team. Even though she was born in the United States, Danielle proudly represents Haiti in international soccer matches.

Playing for Haiti
Danielle Etienne has played for the Haitian National Team at many different age levels. She has shown her skills in several big tournaments.
Youth National Teams
Danielle played in the 2018 CONCACAF Women's U-17 Championship in Nicaragua. She also competed in the 2018 CONCACAF Women's U-20 Championship in Trinidad and Tobago. Her talent led her to the 2018 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup in France. Later, she played in the 2020 CONCACAF Women's U-20 Championship in the Dominican Republic.
Senior National Team
Danielle made her first appearance for the senior Haitian team on October 3, 2019. This was in a match against Suriname. She scored her first goal for the senior team in a huge 21–0 win. This happened against the British Virgin Islands during the 2023 World Cup Qualifiers.
In February 2023, Danielle was called up to the senior team again. This team made history by beating Senegal and Chile in playoff matches. These wins happened in New Zealand. They secured Haiti's first-ever spot in the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup Finals. Danielle played in the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup. She appeared in a group stage match against China, which Haiti lost 1–0.

About Danielle's Life
Danielle Etienne comes from a family of soccer players. Her father, Derrick Etienne, was also an international player for Haiti. He played as a forward for the Long Island Roughriders. Danielle's older brother, Derrick Etienne Jr., is also a Haitian international winger.
Danielle went to Paramus Catholic High School. After that, she attended Fordham University. A remarkable part of her story is her return to the national team. She rejoined the team just two months after her son, Ezekiel, was born. She then earned a spot on Haiti's final roster for the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup Finals. This was only seven months after giving birth.
