Dannah Phirman (pronounced "Donna") was born on April 22, 1975. She is an Israeli-American actress, comedian, and writer. She is well-known for her voice work in popular animated TV shows.
Dannah Phirman voiced Becky Botsford, who is also the superheroine WordGirl, in the PBS Kids series WordGirl. She also voiced Penny in the Nickelodeon animated series The Mighty B!. You might also know her as Narge Hemingway from the Adult Swim series Newsreaders. She also helped create and star in The Hotwives, a funny reality TV parody show on Hulu. Before her big TV roles, she was part of a comedy group called Respecto Montalban. This group was one of the first improv teams at the famous Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre.

About Dannah Phirman
Dannah Phirman was born in Israel. She studied theater at SUNY Geneseo and finished her degree in 1997. In 1998, she moved to New York City. There, she joined the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater (UCB). UCB is a famous place for improv and sketch comedy. She was part of the improv group Respecto Montalban there.
Phirman also teaches others how to write sketch comedy and perform improv. She has been in many comedy shows. One show, Eye Candy, went to a big comedy festival. She also performed in Special Delivery, a funny show about postal workers. With her creative partner Danielle Schneider, she has created other sketch shows.
