Danny Mac was born on February 26, 1988. He is an English actor. Danny is famous for many different roles. He has acted on stage in musicals and on TV shows. He has also won several awards for his acting. These include awards for Best Actor and Best Newcomer.

Early Life and Family
Danny Mac was born in Bromley, a part of London. But he grew up in a town by the sea called Bognor Regis. He studied acting for two years at Chichester College. After that, he went to The Arts Educational Schools in London. He finished his studies there in 2009.
While he was acting in the musical Legally Blonde: The Musical, he met actress Carley Stenson. They started dating in 2011. Danny and Carley got married in 2017. In March 2021, they shared exciting news. They were going to have their first child. Their daughter, Skye, was born on June 14, 2021.
Danny Mac's Acting Career
Danny Mac started acting when he was just nine years old. His first big role was Gavroche in the musical Les Miserables. He performed this role for ten weeks in Southampton in 1998. He also played Gavroche in London's West End in 1999.
Ten years later, he returned to the West End. He performed in the musical Wicked. He was in this show from May 2009 to February 2011. After Wicked, Danny joined the TV show Hollyoaks. His role on Hollyoaks brought him many awards and nominations.
In 2016, Danny took part in Strictly Come Dancing. This is a very popular dance competition on BBC One. He was partnered with professional dancer Oti Mabuse. They were a very popular pair on the show.
Stage Roles and Musicals
In May 2017, Danny starred as Gabey in the musical On the Town. This show was performed at the Regent's Park Open Air Theatre. It ran until July of that year. The show was nominated for an award in 2018.
From September 2017 to April 2018, Danny played Joe Gillis. This was in a touring show of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Sunset Boulevard. For this role, he won 'Best Actor' at The Manchester Theatre Awards. He was also nominated for 'Best Actor' at the WhatsOnStage Awards. The show itself also won awards.
In December 2018 and January 2019, Danny Mac starred as Bob Wallace. This was in the musical White Christmas at Curve in Leicester. This show later moved to the Dominion Theatre in London's West End. It played there from November 2019 to January 2020.
From May 2019, Danny toured the UK. He played Nino in the musical Amélie. In 2020, he played Edward in the London premiere of Pretty Woman: The Musical. This show was at the Piccadilly Theatre. After theatres closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the show reopened. It moved to the Savoy Theatre in July 2021.
In June 2023, he starred in Stephen Sondheim’s musical Assassins. He played John Wilkes Booth at the Chichester Festival Theatre.
Television Appearances
In 2018, Danny appeared in the Sky One comedy show Trollied. He played a character named Craig. Danny also returned to television for guest roles. He appeared in Midsomer Murders in 2019. He was also in Doctors in 2020 and again in 2024.
